This Warranty & Authenticity Statement outlines the guarantees we provide to our clients.

1. Authenticity Guarantee

Swiss 1848 SA hereby certifies that all products offered through the 1848 Store are genuine, original creations produced or authorised by Swiss 1848 SA.

Each item is manufactured using carefully selected materials and is subject to rigorous quality control processes.

Where applicable, products may include:

• Branded labels, markings, or signatures

• Serialised or coded identifiers

• Certificates of authenticity

• Special edition or limited-series documentation

Any unauthorised use or reproduction of the 1848 trademark, logo, design elements, or product configurations is strictly prohibited and may constitute a violation of Swiss and international intellectual property laws.

2. Warranty Coverage

1848 products are warranted against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal, intended use.

2.1 Duration of Warranty

Unless otherwise stated, the warranty period is:

• 2 years from the date of purchase for eligible products, in accordance with Swiss consumer norms.

• Extended warranties may be offered for specific collections or limited editions, as detailed on product pages or accompanying documentation.

2.2 What is Covered

This warranty applies exclusively to:

• Structural or material defects arising from manufacturing

• Faults in stitching, assembly, or construction

• Hardware defects (e.g., buckles, zippers) caused by production error

• Quality deviations inconsistent with 1848 standards

If a manufacturing defect is confirmed, Swiss 1848 SA will, at its discretion:

1. Repair the item;

2. Replace it with an identical item; or

3. Offer a suitable alternative if the original product is unavailable (e.g., limited editions).

Repairs or replacements will be performed without cost to the client.

3. What is Not Covered

This warranty does not apply to:

• Normal wear and tear

• Damage resulting from misuse, negligence, accidents, or improper care

• Alterations or repairs performed by unauthorised third parties

• Exposure to extreme environments or chemicals

• Scratches, discolouration, or patina that naturally develop with time on materials such as leather or metals

• Loss, theft, or accidental damage

• Products purchased from unauthorised sellers or third-party platforms

Swiss 1848 SA reserves the right to refuse warranty service where authenticity or purchase source cannot be verified.

4. Verification and Service Procedure

To obtain warranty service, clients must:

1. Contact us at info@swiss1848.ch

2. Provide proof of purchase (order confirmation, invoice, or authenticity card)

3. Describe the issue and provide photographs where applicable

4. Obtain a Warranty Service Authorisation Number from our Customer Care team

Once authorised, clients will receive instructions for safely returning the item to our designated service centre.

Shipping costs for verified warranty repairs may be covered by Swiss 1848 SA at its discretion.

5. Limited Editions & Collectibles

Certain exclusive releases, limited editions, artist collaborations, or bespoke pieces may include additional authenticity documentation or specific warranty terms.

Details will be provided with the item or upon request.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted under Swiss law:

• Swiss 1848 SA’s liability is limited to repair, replacement, or refund (as appropriate), and

• We are not liable for consequential damages, loss of profit, or indirect losses arising from product use.

This statement does not exclude or limit any rights you may have under mandatory Swiss consumer protection laws.
